Congregation Harei Yeshua is a Grace centered, Yeshua focused Messianic Jewish Congregation! We are a congregation of Jewish and Non Jewish people who have made a profession of faith in Yeshua(Jesus) as our Savior and Messiah. While our focus is reaching the Jewish community in Paradise and Chico with the love of Messiah Yeshua, Harei Yeshua welcomes everyone regardless of their beliefs or background to come and worship with us. Interfaith couples find messianic congregations a comfortable setting for both their faiths. We hold Erev Shabbat services on Friday nights at 6:30 PM at Magalia Community Church in Old Magalia in the Community Hall. We look forward to your visit. |

What Is a Messianic Jewish Congregation? Messianic Jewish congregations vary in their vision and focus but have a common purpose and goal. To provide a congregational home for Jewish and NonJewish Believers in Messiah Yeshua(Jesus). Although there is an emphasis on jewish tradition and culture, Messianic Jewish Congregations are unique in that they are neither synagogues nor churches in the traditional sense of the word. We maintain a identity in both the Jewish and Christian communities which causes misunderstandings in both. Christians many times do not understand why we hold so tightly to our Jewish heritage and the Jewish community does not understand our faith in Messiah Yeshua. Despite these challenges, the community of Messianic believers both Jew and Gentile has continued to flourish. It is evident that this is a work of G-d not man. |
